So...

I got a job - I was doing this internship over summer and then they were hiring and I applied because they had some part time positions but actually I got a full time job and I'm going to be working in IT. It's super cool and it has great benefits but I have to do it on site, so I've been working things out with school to finish up this year online - I don't have that many credits to go because I've been doing the summer sessions.

They're totally fine with the part where I'm like, super gay but we're not mentioning the whole mutant thing. It's a really amazing opportunity. 

I just have to move to Austin.

So... 

 

You know that living here literally saved my life and let me finish high school and go to college and let me be me and like, super gay and non binary and it was really amazing that most of you didn't care about that at all. That  - all of that - I can't even explain what that means but I got to be a person here and not just what my family expected because that was never gonna happen. They made it clear that they'd be happier if I was dead than anything other than the daughter they wanted me to be and literally, I'd probably be dead right now if you hadn't given me all of this for years.

But - - my mutation is under control and I don't know if I want to be a super hero or just a person, having a normal life and going to work and the gym and being in the world. Normal, you know? 

 I'm going to take this job and figure out what I want to do.
