I got a job - I was doing this internship over summer and then they were hiring and I applied because they had some part time positions but actually I got a full time job and I'm going to be working in IT. It's super cool and it has great benefits but I have to do it on site, so I've been working things out with school to finish up this year online - I don't have that many credits to go because I've been doing the summer sessions.

They're totally fine with the part where I'm like, super gay but we're not mentioning the whole mutant thing. It's a really amazing opportunity.

I just have to move to Austin.

So...

You know that living here literally saved my life and let me finish high school and go to college and let me be me and like, super gay and non binary and it was really amazing that most of you didn't care about that at all. That - all of that - I can't even explain what that means but I got to be a person here and not just what my family expected because that was never gonna happen. They made it clear that they'd be happier if I was dead than anything other than the daughter they wanted me to be and literally, I'd probably be dead right now if you hadn't given me all of this for years.

But - - my mutation is under control and I don't know if I want to be a super hero or just a person, having a normal life and going to work and the gym and being in the world. Normal, you know?

I'm going to take this job and figure out what I want to do.

You know, these people are just so gross and so hateful.

They pretend that they're not spreading hate but they'll do whatever they can to make you not a mutant again, make you normal again and since that doesn't work, because we can't not be mutants.

And when that doesn't work, they'll burn down everything attached to us, because we don't deserve anything good, like school or friends or family and they'll cheer on anyone who does kill us directly.

My family weren't COH but they were scared of losing everything they'd built because of me so they listened to those assholes.

Fuck the Church of Humanity.

I'm out of the medlab so here's the update.

i'm okay. my powers ... malfunctioned. it was not pleasant. it really sucked, actually and i would like to not talk about it too much right now. i probably would have died if the doctors here weren't so good.

i'm still tired and am instructed to take it easy for a bit until i recover but also not get too relaxed until we know that my control is there.

I'm not on a team but it's been pretty hard to miss that some heavy shit has been going down the last few days.

Can someone explain what's going on, please?

Apparently some people went to literally hell this weekend.

Some of us went to metaphorical hell but guess who has two thumbs, ten fingers and shaved a full semester off the community college half of their college through summer school?

I'm going to eat my own body weight in pizza now and then maybe sleep for a year since I submitted my last thing at 11:58pm. Which is before the deadline.

Anyone seen Topaz? I was going to go to the library and like. ...books and stuff.

hey, surprise, I'm a shapeshifter and I've gone and turned green. No, I didn't do it on purpose. It just happened. Someone said something about it maybe being my actual default shape. IDK. I was a little stressed and not really listening at the time.

I don't know how to turn back and I'm basically on mansion house arrest till I can go outside without BEING GREEN at people.

I know she's just sulking, you don't need to tell me that but it's late and like, I kind of feel like maybe an adult should be looking for her, because she's not in the mansion or the main section of the grounds and seriously, it's late enough that, like we should find her.

I know that you can all see this, so I'm uh really sorry about Illyana and the computer.

I know that I shouldn't have told her that you have to pay the computer demons but, I swear to god, I did not know she was going to throw it out the window and set fire to it.
